Five reasons to attend KITF 2014
Participation in tourist fairs is a quite particular feature of the tourist business and an important way to promote tourist products on the market.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to draw the attention of professionals and customers to both a national tourist product, in general, and to an individual tourist company with its commercial offers. Over the past few years Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF) gained its popularity in Kazakhstan. Last year, 574 companies from 43 countries of the world presented their products and services at the exhibition.
Our next exhibition KITF 2014 will be held in Almaty on 23-25 April 2014 and will traditionally occupy several pavilions at Atakent International Exhibition Center.
Comprehensiveness of KITF is that the organizers managed to combine several formats: b2g, b2b and b2c. There are at least five arguments to participate in KITF 2014 where you will have an excellent opportunity to:
- Reach a large number of segmented audiences with demonstrating advantages of your country or company services;
- Assess the interest to a tourist product and company itself;
- Attract new potential customers;
- Gain reputation as an expert in the industry;
- Establish personal contacts with new potential customers interested in the product within a short period of time and in such an efficient way.
"The whole world. One exhibition" is the KITF slogan. Dozens of states are represented by their National Tourism Organizations (NTO) at KITF. The event is traditionally visited by around 4,000 professionals.

At the beginning of a summer holiday season active participants of the tourist market will be able to carry out direct sales and advanced tour bookings at KITF, as well as attract new potential customers by special lotteries and price deals envisaged by the exhibition program on the second day of the event.
KITF is a meeting platform for foreign tour operators, Kazakhstan travel agencies, resorts, guest houses, hotel chains, airlines and insurers who gather in Almaty for the presentation of their new summer programs and routes. The KITF organizers are the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the exhibition companies ITE Group Plc (UK) and Iteca (Kazakhstan). Official event support is provided by the World Tourism Organization, the specialized United Nation agency in the field of tourism (UNWTO) and the municipal administration Almaty City Akimat.
