On behalf of the Akimat, I am glad to welcome participants and guests of the 16th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Tourism in Astana” - Astana Travel Expo 2022 in Astana!

Tourism in Kazakhstan is a promising area on which serious stakes are now being made and which is gaining more and more momentum every year. Every year, our country attracts thousands of tourists with the beauty of landscapes, soft climate, rich historical past, original culture and national flavor.

The Kazakhstan International Exhibition - Astana Travel Expo will traditionally present on its platform all kinds of directions and novelties of the tourism industry, attracting a large number of tourists to Kazakhstan.

Tourism is one of the most priority industries, annually increasing its share in the country’s GDP. According to the forecasts of the World Tourism Organization, by 2030 international tourism will grow by 3.3% per year and reach 1.8 billion tourists. In Kazakhstan, it is planned to increase the share of tourism and related services in the gross regional product to 6% by 2025, holding such events contributes to the development of the industry and opens up new opportunities for all market players.
