Viktoria PAVLENKO, MANAGER OF ASTANA LEISURE-2014 EXHIBITION:
- Exhibition is a platform for sharing experiences and opinions. It is held for our operators so that they can learn from the international companies how to sell products, to arrange tours and so on. It is a platform for dialogue between producers and consumers of the product services. Kazakhstan has a beautiful nature. We just need to learn how to promote them. The even participants are from 22 countries, including Kazakhstan, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hungary, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, and Venezuela.
Turkey is a constant participant of Kazakhstan's tourism exhibition. One of the world's leaders in tourism, Turkey this year is presenting its popular resorts, and less known regions such as Marmaris and Cappadocia.
Nilgun KILICARSLAN, CULTURE AND TOURISM ATTACHE, TURKISH EMBASSY IN KAZAKHSTAN:
- We propose for our tourists not only the sun, the sea, the beach, but also the active forms of tourism and health tourism. Kazakhs are very fond of mountaineering and skydiving. According to statistics in 2011, 420,000 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Turkey. In 2014, this figure had increased by 260,000 tourists. Every year there is a rise in the number of tourists.
